Truman Capote said "Failure is the condiment that gives success its flavor." What a great quote. This one hits home to me. I've had some flops... and I've had some success. I don't mind having a dud every once in a while. I was at an event that just didn't draw a crowd. I still don't know why, but it was a very small turnout. There should have been four times more people, but we had a small crowd and I still put my entire heart into the show and had so much fun. I talked to another comic after the show and said, small shows make the big shows THAT MUCH better! You still put your whole heart into it, but it's just different!
