Daisaku Ikeda said “A genuinely happy person is one who has rendered others happy.” This might be my new favorite quote! I'd never heard it before today, but I've always tried to live this! I am a genuinely happy person. I try to spread joy to others each day. I do that on the radio. I do that on stage as a comedian. I do that on social media by sharing fun things and silly things and very rarely do I ever share serious things. I refuse to share political things. That makes people sad or mad. I want to make people smile. I've always wanted to make people smile. I'm a middle child... so it's just part of who I am, but it really matters to me.
