Stephen King said "Amateurs sit and wait for inspiration, the rest of us just get up and go to work." I love this quote. In addition to this radio stuff that I'm blessed to do. I also do stand up comedy. I'm a clean comic, so I get to do corporate events and fundraisers. This time of year I have many company party events. I have a friend who asked me how I book so many shows. I told him, I reach out and ask for it. He's not willing to make the calls or send the messages, then he wonders why he's not busy when I am. That's life dude! If you don't put in the effort and ask for it, they're probably not gonna call you out of the blue!
