Stephen R. Covey said "Motivation is a fire from within. If someone else tries to light that fire under you, chances are it will burn very briefly." I agree with this thought! I discovered that about ME when I was in my twenties! I had a manager who pointed that out. He said “John, you have contagious enthusiasm” I was baffled by that. I had never heard of that. He said, “If you like something, you light up when you share it with others, but if you're not interested, you are not going to do well with it, because you don't believe it's a good thing.” That's true. I'm still that way today. If you hear me talking about stuff, I really believe in it!
