I've been working on doing things differently. I outlived my father this year. That's a weird feeling. My dad died at 49. Last year I turned 49 and every day I thought about death and the fact that I'm not ready to die. Yeah, I know, that's a weird way to live, so I did the math to see how many days he lived after his birthday, and for me, that day was January 18th. Since then I've lost over 40 pounds this year and more to come. I was happy to turn 50
