An Irish proverb says "You will never plough a field if you only turn it over in your mind." Excellent quote. I think it is a good idea to visualize things, but if you ONLY visualize them and don't actually do them, you're probably gonna fall short of success. When I've had a big presentation to make or a big event to do. I will often think about that moment for a few weeks in advance. As I'm trying to fall asleep, I first thank God for the opportunity and all of the blessings in my life, but then I imagine myself on that stage, or in that meeting. I think about what will happen and how I can be prepared. It works... but you still have to go!
