Robert J. Lumsden said "A good criterion for measuring success in life is the number of people you have made happy." I love this! I try to use this benchmark each day myself. I do my very best to put a smile on the faces of those I meet! Sometimes that can be a tall order. I went to a restaurant after church one Sunday. We were the only people there, but it was going to be busy soon. The young lady was having a bad day apparently. She said “what do you want” I said, “I'll buy some food, but can you give me a smile for free?” she flashed a smile... but she was still not happy. I was sad for her. I do hope things got better!
