Dwight D. Eisenhower said "Through this unique means, I convey to you and all mankind, America’s wish for peace on Earth and goodwill to men everywhere."

That was the President's message to the nation at Christmas time in 1958. So what was the “unique means?” Well, this was the first voice beamed from OUTERSPACE via a secret satellite. This was the President of the United States wishing mankind peace and goodwill towards one another, by demonstrating technology that was brand new and very impressive to the people living in the 1958 world! Imagine what they would think about the technology we have today!
