Benjamin Franklin said "Diligence is the mother of good luck." I'll second that! If you're diligent you're probably more likely to succeed in your career. I'm sure I've shared this before, but when my wife and I started our very first radio station in 2010. We had a young man working with us. He would step in the door at exactly 8am and he would leave at exactly 5pm. I told him not to worry about the clock. You're OK to be a little later or a little earlier, just get your work done. I told him, “I come in early every day”.... he said, “because you own the place”... I said... not I did this for others for many years, that's WHY I own this place” Diligence!
